Metropolitan Branch Trail – DDOT denies 30-day extension request

DDOT has added the construction manager’s weekly progress report for the week of March 1 – 6.

Key passage from the report is the final one:

FMCC submitted a revised and update CPM schedule on January 25, 2010, which shows a delayed completion date to June 1, 2010. DDOT responded by denying the request for additional time and intends to enforce the April 30,
completion date. FMCC is revising their CPM schedule and will respond by March 30th.

Bravo DDOT for not simply agreeing to a contract extension of a minor project (MBT) that is being performed by an important partner (FMCC) in many other DDOT works.

The end of the report includes numerous photos of recent construction work.
